The defining feature of the DSP 3K1 is its built-in Digital Signal Processor (DSP). Unlike standard amplifiers, it features an integrated smart hardware Limiter with 3 selectable level positions (1%, 5%, or 10%), allowing you to prevent signal clipping and protect your voice coils from burning out even during brutal playing sessions.
It also includes a convenient “Filter Off/On” switch: when turned on, it restricts the frequency response to a focused 22Hz – 250Hz sub-bass range; when turned off, it broadens up to 1000Hz, giving you the flexibility to use external audio processors if preferred.
